Need To Talk To Us?
Arkansas sees some of the most active severe weather in the country — hail, straight-line winds, and tornado outbreaks roll through Central Arkansas every spring, and roofs take the first hit. Little Rock Roofing Experts handles the whole storm-damage process: emergency tarping to stop active leaks, thorough photo documentation, help with your insurance claim, and the final repair or replacement. Call (501) 403-6103. After a major storm, the schedule fills fast.
Get a professional inspection before you file. Filing a claim for damage that turns out to be minor can count against your claims history. We inspect first and tell you honestly whether what we see is worth a claim.
Storm damage is often invisible from the ground, and some of the worst of it doesn't leak right away:
Hail bruises. Soft, dark spots where granules were knocked loose and the shingle mat was fractured. The roof may not leak for months, but the shingle is dying.
Creased or lifted shingles. Wind bends shingles back and breaks their seal, even when they don't blow off. Creased shingles fail in the next storm.
Missing shingles or exposed underlayment. The obvious one, and an urgent one.
Dented soft metals. Gutters, downspouts, vents, and flashing dent at hail sizes that also damage shingles. Adjusters look here first; so do we.
Granules piling in gutters and downspout splash areas. After a single storm. If your roof is older, storm damage often accelerates problems that were already developing. Our guide to the signs a roof needs replacing explains what's storm damage versus wear, which matters for your claim.
Most homeowners have never filed a roof claim. The process is more manageable with someone in your corner who does this every week:
Free storm inspection. We inspect and photograph the entire roof, gutters, vents, flashing, and any interior damage, then give you an honest read on whether a claim makes sense.
You file the claim. Your insurer assigns an adjuster and a claim number. Most Arkansas policies require filing within a set window after the storm date. Don't sit on it!
We meet the adjuster on your roof. This is the step that matters most. We walk the roof with your adjuster and make sure every point of damage we documented gets seen — not just the obvious ones.
Scope and settlement. The insurer issues a scope of covered work. We review it against our documentation and flag anything missed.
The repair or replacement. We complete the work per the approved scope — whether that's a repair or a full replacement— and provide the completion documentation your insurer needs to release final payment.
You pay your deductible; that's how the system is designed to work. Be wary of anyone offering to "cover" or waive it. Deductible fraud is illegal in Arkansas and it's the calling card of the storm-chasing outfits that follow hail around the country and disappear when the workmanship fails.
Within days of a big hail event, out-of-state trucks flood Little Rock neighborhoods knocking on doors. Some do fine work; many don't, and none of them will be here in three years when a warranty question comes up. We're local, we work Central Arkansas year-round, and our reputation lives or dies on roofs within thirty miles of yours.
